A special 1-day conference will be held at the Maritime Conference Center on December 15th to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Hungnam Evacuation.
Monday, December 15, 2025 is the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the evacuation from Hungnam. Over the next 10 days, 120,000 allied military forces and more than 91,000 North Korean refugees were evacuated by sea. See this Wikipedia article for a summary of the evacuation.
The cost of the seminar will be $99.00. This will cover your lunch and coffee breaks at the conference center.
For those of you who would like to come on Sunday, and stay at the Maritime Conference Center a block of 15 rooms have been reserved. The cost is $169.00 plus state taxes for one person-occupancy, and $214.00 plus state taxes for double-occupancy. The reservation includes breakfast and supper.
